Our daughter had arranged for Isabel to spend time showing us houses in different areas and different price points. Isabel had appointments for 5 houses the afternoon that we got to New Braunfels. At the end of our stay, Isabel had shown us 14 houses. Isabel is a busy person. At this point, we returned to the DFW area to put our house on the market. During this time, we were in constant contact with Isabel and checking different real estate websites. We would give Isabel a couple of houses to check out. She made a walk-through video for some of the best ones. During this time, we had to sell our house in DFW. Isabel never got discouraged and made sure that we didn't either. We worked through offers that we had put on 2 houses. The first fell through due to the non-sale of our DFW house. The next offer didn't work due to the seller taking the house off the market. We made another trip to New Braunfels to tour some houses that Isabel had looked at and some that we chose after our house sold. We settled on a house that Isabel and our daughter had found and toured and filmed. Isabel submitted our offer and it was accepted. After we closed on the house, Isabel went through again making sure that all the items that we listed were taken care of. The day before we moved into the house, she made another pass to double check everything. She was extremely valuable to us because we had not bought a house in 37 years.
